A differen kind of holiday
Today was a national holiday.
I was supposed to spend the day boring myself to tears with my parents at home, since my BF was trying to get some much needed sleep after starting her job (I'm meeting her tomorrow evening with some of the other girls for pre-dinner drinks).

Instead I decided to take up on the out-of-the-blue invite I got yesterday from one of my jap classmates and went out for lunch with her.
We were supposed to eat chinese with a friend of hers, but we ended up having an extra guy and eating japanese :P
It was fun!
They're pretty laid back, and 2 of them share my love for japanese things, obviously XD

Somehow lunch turned into an 'all day hanging out' experience with basically ALL of her friends showing up.
We just sat at a bar and drank ginseng iced tea and talked about italian anime openings XDDD
It was refreshing, since none of my friends give a crap about anime or japanese things in general. I can't talk to any of them about the stuff I talk about on here... I told them about my japanese course and they looked at me funny with a face that clearly said 'Why?' before switching to a different topic XD

It was different talking with people who actually understand what I'm talking about and sometimes even know more than me about it XD

Still, I'm glad I'll see my small group again tomorrow.
It's been too long since we managed to be all free to meet. And Elena graduated uni recently so we'll probably celebrate her :P

RH +
I finally finished watching this drama.
I'm glad I decided to check it out.
For those who don't know it's a drama about 4 vampires with a slight shonen-ai theme (which probably is more evident in the manga).

It's nothing earth-shattering, but really if you want 'earth-shattering' I doubt a japanese drama is the place to look for it.
But I really enjoyed it. It went against a lot of vampire-cliché and the concept of vampires seeking company and wanting a family was somewhat different, enjoyable.

Surprisingly, I also liked all the characters. Even Ami, as annoying as she was, had her good moments. I liked her in the episode where Makoto run away from home.
I really liked Makoto, the lead character, but my favorite was probably Masakazu.
His 'irresponsibility', his apparently caring only about himself and getting girls... and how all of that disappears the minute one of the guys he considers his 'family' is in trouble.
He's so lovable, and his scenes with Haruka were priceless |D

All in all, I'd def. recommend you to check it out if you have time ^^

There's only one thing that drives me nuts about this serie. There seems to be no fandom for it.
No fansites, no fanwork, no fics, no communities... nothing ;__;

'Pick-me-up' plan/post/whatever
And what could it be about if not fangirling?

Lately the boys aren't delivering the fanservice I crave :P
Yes, I'm turning into one of those demanding fan 0=p
But one good thing arrived last week...

THIS! )

Speaking of D-Boys... can I admit to how freaking jealous I am of japanese fangirls?
I want to know what's going on the Mobile Site so badly ;____;
And Yuichi and Mikami just have to rub it in and keep talking about interacting with fans on there, uh?

I finally managed to rip 'Corflakes ~ Taikan Kisetsu', the stage play Yanagi did in November with Kawaii and Yagami Renn.
I was surprised by it, I thought it would be a light-dorky play but it was actually a drama.
I still have to finish watching it, but so far I'm liking it.
I'll try to upload it and share it later... Take a look at it, if not for the play itself for the bit where Yanagi tries to kill Kawaii by strangling him (no kidding) O.O

What else...
I have 3 things that I still have to finish watching: HanaKimi, Ganbatte Ikkimashoi and Full Metal Alchemist.
If things manage to stay quiet I might try to finish Ganbatte Ikkimasshoi tonight, happy Chriss? =P
